Premium Members Philip J. Martinez SOC Posted August 25, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 25, 2007 So obviously I have not worked this week, all the trips to camera houses but?. I was very pleased today when I went to CSC and put up a 435 Advanced on a Clipper 24 with a G-50 arm and it had 4 ½ turns left in it. It was: Arri 435 Advanced 400? Steadicam mag 400? of film Ultra prime (10,20, 28) Clip on Matte box (not with the 10) Bar Tech M-one motor RF transmitter Digital level Overall sled lengths was a little less then 30? much more manageable then the 40.5? sled with the Sony F23. I remember reading about the arm not being able to handle this camera so I was very happy when it worked so well!
Premium Members Anders Holck Petersen Posted September 2, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 2, 2007 Yeah. I flew one a few months back on my Clipper II. We had the video top, but on the day of the shoot, no time to change it over. Still managed to ride ok. In this shot the post was fully extended (3 sections) and that was a bit prone to vibration. Did a few shots at 150fps. Really surprised about the added inertia by the revolving film spools....
