Premium Members chris fawcett Posted August 26, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 26, 2007 Hi! Who's the Steadicam op that worked all afternoon on that cute bridge under my bedroom window yesterday, and didn't even stop by for dinner? Unfortunately, I was out all day anyway, and only heard about it on my return. If you're still around the city, the offer's still open. All the best, Chris

Premium Members Lukas Franz Posted August 26, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 26, 2007 Hi Chris, how are you? I think they were shooting scenes for "Stopping Power" by director Jan de Bont. Isn't he Dutch? Well, they were recently shooting in Berlin. Unfortunately I don't know who's the Steadicam Op, but I think he's European. Maybe your biggest competitor ;-) Cheers from Switzerland. Premium Members chris fawcett Posted August 26, 2007 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted August 26, 2007 My twin's posture is not bad, but then every time I see him, he's looking at himself in a mirror.
Premium Members chris fawcett Posted August 26, 2007 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted August 26, 2007 Maybe your biggest competitor ;-) Hi Lukas, I don't think he has much to worry about if he can score a job that's outside my bedroom window. I'm fine thanks, and you? Coming to IBC? Chris
Premium Members Lukas Franz Posted August 26, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 26, 2007 You're welcome, Chris. I'm fine too. Probably I'm coming to IBC, unless I'm not shooting with Jan de Bont in Amsterdam ;-) Will you be there? Lukas

Premium Members Lukas Franz Posted September 6, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 6, 2007 Hey Chris, I'm afraid I'm not able to get it to IBC this year. I got a call for this weekend. A small job as first AC somewhere around Geneva...unfortunately not with Alain Tanner ;-) I'll try to come next year again. Have fun. See you. Premium Members chris fawcett Posted September 8, 2007 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted September 8, 2007 Pity! Lucas, I have 2 days in Geneva, 9th and 16th October. and was wondering if there was any cultural event up there in the hills that was worth spending the intervening week on. Maybe see you then? Premium Members Lukas Franz Posted September 11, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 11, 2007 Chris, I especially prefer the lake of Geneva. It's very beautiful. And also take a look at here: www.genf.ch/culture Cheers, Lukas
