new G-70

received my new G-70

tiffen suggest swapping the bracket around

between the socket block and the arm

to use with my back mounted vest

has anyone done this

how did you do this

i don't want to start taking things apart

without knowing

and is there a detailed maual

to take the arm apart for cleaning and such

any help would be much appreciated

i have the same pics that came with the manual

but no details on how they swap it around

or how to disassemble the arm if needed

i can see away to do it but i just want to make sure

how they at tiffen do it the right way

Mark- just pull the pin and align the parts as shown in the photo.

 

The mating parts have two possible positions.

 

The "in" position works better with the mounting armature and socket block on the side as it is with "back-mounted" vests.

I should mention two things: that pulling the pin just the same operation as flipping to goofy foot and back, and this "in" and "out" is only a feature of the G-70 arm (aka "the kickback link.")
