Just having your own rig to play with is one of the most important things and regular practice is the best way to get better but if you haven't got that basics then it can be hard I don't think you will find any indtructional videos online or any where else for that matter. To the best of my knowledge they are very rare to find even on vhs. There is a few manuals on the S.O.A. website. http://www.steadicam-ops.com/soamanual.shtml Give them a read (will be good for your english) and it should begin to make sense even if you have to scale right down for your rig they all work on the same principals. After that the best thing you could do is take a course and keep up the practice, or find a local operator and ask nicley if you can come around and go through some of the basics with them. Also Ingo (?) it should be mentioned to you that on this forum you must use your full name or they will delete your membership. Peace. Dave.
