Premium Members Erwin Landau Posted September 12, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 12, 2007 FYI: By accident I tripped over a little nifty addition to our kit in the Film and Digital Times (Sept. 2006) by Jon Fauer. (Pictured on page 11). T-handle Tie-Down Screwdriver designed for and sold by: Boston Camera... Talk to Ben Woodard. http://www.bostoncamera.com/ I don't think there is a picture on the website anymore, or not yet... It sells for $19.95 and it's red by the way... I ordered a couple. Premium Members Dan Coplan Posted September 13, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 13, 2007 I know I'm not the sharpest tack on the wall, but where on the site is this thing? Or can you post a picture? Dan "Not Taking Credit For The Screwdriver" Coplan
Premium Members Erwin Landau Posted September 13, 2007 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted September 13, 2007 I'm not implying that you are... There is none... that's why I wrote: "I don't think there is a picture on the website anymore, or not yet..." But what's a scanner for right? Premium Members Erwin Landau Posted March 11, 2008 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted March 11, 2008 Now you can get a version from Filmtools... http://www.filmtools.com/filmtools-7-screwdriver.html I hooked them up with the company in Switzerland (Of all Countries on the planet...) and what do you know... the company stopped making them... great isn't it and to add to the insult: Craftsman is also holding production on the Stubby Screwdriver that everybody in our industry uses... They are just ignorant about the film industry... I guess... You can still buy the Craftsman Screwdriver with the Number 7 blade, it's just going to be a foot long... Oh well! I bought two as well, and put my name on it. Like that will help it stay put. ... maybe... Bryan

Premium Members Bryan Fowler Posted July 19, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 19, 2008 Dave, It was just a stubby. FilmTools is the only place I've seen the Tgrip. I prefer the stubby though, simply for it's compactness.
