Premium Members Jerry Holway Posted October 13, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 13, 2007 Job and Armando- The stiffening system is similar to the spreaders and stays of sailboats to stiffen the masts. After lacing and securing the low stretch line as shown in the manual photos, extend some element (monitor, batteries, and/or telescoping post) to tension the line. This tensioning removes the flex inherent in extended (long mode) operating, and is also useful whenever violent moves are used.
