Both ops got a lot of TV time and the steadi shots were well done as well. Just curious who got the job. Thanks, Elliott Edited September 25, 2007 by Elliott Yancey
Premium Members Ramon Engle Posted October 3, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 3, 2007 Hi Elliot. It was me and Mike Smith The crowds reponses like "Shut Up" and "Go to Hell" made me embarrassed to say I live in Atlanta. Public forums and open discussions are surely meant to be an exchange of opposing ideas and beliefs but when one side reveals themselves as being not much more than drunken yelling street corner morons it only lessens thier cause. I watched my tivo'd version and the crowd audio levels that were broadcast were thankfully under modulated. But I digress. The job was good. Sorry for my rant but it needs to be known. Premium Members Elliott Yancey Posted October 3, 2007 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted October 3, 2007 (edited) Thanks Ramon, Your stuff, as always, looked good. I talked to Mike a couple days ago and he said it was a lot of work for a 1 hour special and he noticed the same, shall we call it, polarity in the crowd. At least it was at the World Congress Center (I think that is right) and not where they originally wanted to have it: Morehouse College. I was hired for the job when it was originally scheduled but then Vick plead guilty and the show was cancelled. I was told that I was in their database and would be called if the shoot was rescheduled but I never got the call. Oh well, win some lose some. At any rate, it was good to see to local ops on such a high profile job and have it turn out as well as it did. Nice job. Thanks, Elliott Edited October 3, 2007 by Elliott Yancey
