Premium Members Lukas Franz Posted October 13, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 13, 2007 Hi guys, while searching a steadicam showreel on youtube, I've found somebody's grand prix clip from a workshop took place this March. The video quality is very youtube-like, but while watching it I recognized Charles Papert who's playing a role from famous "Godfather"-restaurant-gun-in-bathroom-scene. What an actor ;-) Amazing, Charles! You should change your job, man. Especially that sound for the gun is breathtaking. Hehe, just kidding :-0 Was very funny to watch. By the way I've done the same shot with Jerry only a month before on a workshop in Locarno. Have fun. Lukas Oh btw. Charles: I know, you don't take it too serious, do you ;-)
Premium Members Amando Crespo Posted October 13, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 13, 2007 Hi Lukas...Do you remember that shot?.... Have you some video images about us at our Swiss workshop?. Best regards.
Premium Members Charles Papert Posted October 14, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 14, 2007 16 students, 2 takes each--32 times through that bloody scene. We actually had a few really funny versions that day, sadly this wasn't one of them. That's our man Robert Starling sitting at the table with me, who was the real star of the piece in my mind because although stricken with food poisoning he got thru many takes with good humor. For a real taste of my exceptionally limited acting ability, I recommend the following: http://www.steadishots.org/shots_detail.cfm?shotID=
Premium Members Lukas Franz Posted October 14, 2007 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted October 14, 2007 Oh yeah, I know the "Scrubs" clip, it's definitely a masterpiece of its own. I'm shure it was fun to shoot too, wasn't it? Amando, I remember very clearly my GP shot in Locarno. Unfortunately I haven't got any video footage of us. And seriously I don't want to know that is still accessible somewhere ;-) Photos from the GP and the rest of the workshop in Locarno is available here: http://www.sometimes.ch/pics_workshop_2007.html Cheers, Lukas
