Premium Members Ramon Engle Posted June 14, 2004 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 14, 2004 I've come up with my own adapter to power the family of Sony camcorders that use the S Series Infolithium batteries. It works perfectly and fits neatly on the recorder bracket. I don't think this is as slim as what John Seitz is configuring but it works well. Contact me if you are in need of an adapter. Premium Members RobVanGelder Posted July 26, 2004 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 26, 2004 Ramon, can you post a picture? also, when you say the sony adaptor is $100 and your adaption is $150, that means the total is $250? Or what? Also, is it possible to make a similar adapter for the Canon XL-1? Just to be sure: your adaptor will make 7.2Volts out of 12 volt? Can it supply enough power for the DV-walkman (with screen)? Rob van Gelder, Bangkok, Thailand
