Premium Members JobScholtze Posted December 13, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 13, 2007 Just my 2 cents Keep your money in your pocket. To me that rig dasnt look versatile enough. Very small base. I think you should do a workshop first. When you understand all the options a rig has to have or dasnt have, you will be more able to decide what your needs are. Sometimes its even better to get a older secondhand rig then something new in the league your looking at right now. So, i strongly suggest to get a workshop FIRST
Premium Members Matteo Quagliano Posted December 13, 2007 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted December 13, 2007 Hi Job, my money are already out of my poket, not a lot of money infact but already gone, so no regrets... I know I'll have to take a workshop first, as already metioned before, and I promise I will, infact the rig is not very versatile, but using it with the equipment I'm rerquested to it works quite fine, just need experience, someone correcting my mystakes and money to get a Pro... too easy, I like the hard way ;) matt

Michael Jones
getting better but still no time to upload some shots... Matt, If you'd like to upload some photos, try Photobucket.com It's free. They'll host your photos, and you can link to them on this forum. I'm sure if people can see what you're talking about, you'll get better feedback. Michael Jones

Premium Members Mike McGowan SOC Posted December 24, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 24, 2007 it depends on how fast your running and what the terrain is. i will sometimes let go with my right arm and use it to run while only my left fingers touch the rig. mm. Premium Members Gus Trivino Posted December 25, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 25, 2007 Hi Matteo I lived 1 year in Milano, and maybe I will go this year. If I go, I will contact you. Days ago I saw "Ricordate di me" Sandro was the steadicam Operator. V-e-r-y good Job for him. Maybe you can contact Sandro to take a Workshop -the first that you have to do- best to all and I miss my expresso machiatto con Cornetto!! Premium Members Matteo Quagliano Posted December 27, 2007 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted December 27, 2007 Hi ops, just have another question fot the more experienced. May be it's the wrong forum but I have a question about my LCD monitor, it is a 300 cd/m2, very low, do you think a 500 would change a lot in the outside shots, or only improving up to 1000 or more can make the difference? thanks for the big help found in this forum, ciao, matteo
Premium Members Matteo Quagliano Posted December 29, 2007 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted December 29, 2007 Hi guys, does anyone see the pictures? Premium Members Matteo Quagliano Posted December 30, 2007 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted December 30, 2007 Hi everybody Managed to upload some video on photobuket too, that was after few weeks of practicing, more or less, didn't have available another camera to film myself but soon I will. I really appreciate all comments. I was flying a betacam D30, not more than 10 kilos, plate and optic included. Not heavy but not even a miniDv. after that I have an accident trying a running shot, lukily not big damages but I got my piece to repair, back in three weeks, hope. I think this can be a good topic too, after how to fly safe... "how to fall safe" http://s250.photobucket.com/albums/gg276/m...ent=steadi1.flv ciao Matteo
