Just my 2 cents

Keep your money in your pocket. To me that rig dasnt look versatile enough. Very small base. I think you should do a workshop first. When you understand all the options a rig has to have or dasnt have, you will be more able to decide what your needs are. Sometimes its even better to get a older secondhand rig then something new in the league your looking at right now.

So, i strongly suggest to get a workshop FIRST

Hi Job,

my money are already out of my poket, not a lot of money infact but already gone, so no regrets...

I know I'll have to take a workshop first, as already metioned before, and I promise I will,

infact the rig is not very versatile, but using it with the equipment I'm rerquested to it works quite fine, just need experience, someone correcting my mystakes and money to get a Pro...

too easy, I like the hard way ;)

Hi everyone,

just have anothr question... where the arm link to the gimbal has to be perfectly circular? I mean, the metal piece that enter into the gimbal has to be prefectly rounded, I guess so but mine has a very little flat side

Is it normal?

thanks all, even if no one answering...

a question... while running is it better to keep an arm (the right one) wide open to have more balance and control the camera only with left end?

thanks again you all

Hi Matteo

I lived 1 year in Milano, and maybe I will go this year.

If I go, I will contact you.

Days ago I saw "Ricordate di me" Sandro was the steadicam Operator.

V-e-r-y good Job for him.

Maybe you can contact Sandro to take a Workshop -the first that you have to do-

best to all and I miss my expresso machiatto con Cornetto!!

Hi ops,

just have another question fot the more experienced. May be it's the wrong forum but I have a question about my LCD monitor, it is a 300 cd/m2, very low, do you think a 500 would change a lot in the outside shots, or only improving up to 1000 or more can make the difference?

thanks for the big help found in this forum,

ciao,

matteo

Hi everybody

Managed to upload some video on photobuket too, that was after few weeks of practicing, more or less, didn't have available another camera to film myself but soon I will. I really appreciate all comments. I was flying a betacam D30, not more than 10 kilos, plate and optic included. Not heavy but not even a miniDv.

after that I have an accident trying a running shot, lukily not big damages but I got my piece to repair, back in three weeks, hope.

I think this can be a good topic too, after how to fly safe... "how to fall safe"

buongiorno,

still me, bothering all of you, does anyone have the chance to look my shots and my pics? If so I really appreciate some comments, in pics you can see the position I"m working normally. in the film uploaded instead you can see just some exercise I did.

comments are appreciated because for now I don't have the chance to take a workshop but still I have to work with it, just did a couple of work and they went quite good, so for me what I read in the forums and what you answear me to my questions it's of an enormous value... I saw my shots improving more and more after very good tips read here...

so again, comments are more then welcome....

thanks again,

ciao
