Nikk Hearn-Sutton SOC Posted June 17, 2004 Report Share Posted June 17, 2004 I'm heading out to LA sometime in the next couple weeks and 2 question evolve.... 1 where is area code 310 and 2nd who can I contact there to get some pointers to my operation of my rig. Just calle me SPONGEBOB cuz I'm going to soak it up anything would be good since I stand alone here in cincinnati as the ONLY op :( which is good and bad good cause they have to come to me bad is that IM IT. Ask almost anyone and I think the majority would move out of here if they could...(meaning you had established yourself in another city) to live in a nicer, cleanier, less populated, less crime filled, cheaper, etc, etc and on and on city. I couldn't imagine raising kids here and sending them to LA unified schools. That would be...um almost like sending them off to juvenile detention each day. LA is impressive and alluring for tourists and visitors. The "mystique" of it draws you in at first, but after a couple of years you realize the truth. Sorry don't mean to sound pessimistic, but after 10 years of living here, you'd have to be blind not to see LA for what it REALLY is. Premium Members Marc Abernathy Posted June 20, 2004 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 20, 2004 lol michael i understand where you are coming from my friend. family members who live out there echo your words... i would not want to go to LA JUST to live.. it would have to be for some kind of opportunity (like in anthonys case). it is a fascinating place. i was at the 6 flags there and its amazing to see just to the right of the "X" ride that it was just undeveloped land... hils and dirt... that is fascinating to a country boy who has been around trees and grass and sidewalks on both sides of the street , etc... digress... i am happy to be in atlanta. its a great place to live, but the industry sucks here..
