Brad Smith
Hallo everybody ,can anyone help me about the antireflective film for transvideo monitors ,where can i find it ,I talk with the local dealer and he told me that transvideo have an anti-glare crystal is that i want ?any help thanks in advance This is exactly the problem I've just dealt with. When I ordered my CineIIIa SB I told my local dealer that I wanted the anti reflective film. I was assured that all transvideo monitors are antireflective. I was not happy with the reflections I was still getting on my monitor and I was reading on the forum how fantastic the CineIIIaSB is when you have the antireflective coating. So, I went back to the dealer and asked him to contact Transvideo to clarify. Turns out all Transvideo monitors have an "anti reflective crystal screen" (which is not that antireflective, see attached pic). What you can request is a monitor that has an "anti glare film" applied to the screen. My dealer was completely unaware of this option. It has cost me to buy a new front panel with the film applied, which my dealer then fitted for free (how generous!) The film must be bonded to the front panel by the factory, but I suspect that if you order the monitor from the factory with the anti glare film, it will not add much to the cost of the monitor. I'm yet to try out my monitor since the new panel has been fitted, but you can see the difference from the pics
