Looking for a weight cage to borrow or rent

Hey does anyone in the Valley or Hollywood have a weight cage that would be appropriate to use with a HVX 200. I have dodged these "little cameras " for as long as I could and now I have to shoot a freeby for a friend. Looking to pick it up today(Monday 1/28) for a Tuesday shoot. Please call ASAP if you can spare one.

Thanks,

Thanks Rob, Cedric, I'm sorry I never got back to the forum until now. Exhausted but happy. Shoot went well.

A thousand thanks to all that called or offered here. Including generous souls Nik Franco, Josh Harrison, Robert Starling, Rob Vuona and Cedric Martin. Wow I just posted that early Monday Morning and by 8 am ish the phone was ringing with offers of help. What a great resource this is.

Flying a PRO arm I could run the hvx 200 and PS technik adapter and Zeiss Super speed prime,Preston DM2 motor, modulous with blue springs (dialed way down)in the arm and no weight cage plate...but it flys a whole lot better with that extra bit 'o 'mass. Surprised by how good that little camera looks. Damn!

Thanks again everyone.

Hi,

did you try it flying the PRO arm with 2 springs?

Jens

I did but with the P+S Technik and the Prime lens etc it was actually too heavy for two blue springs... Probably could have just done two black springs but it was just easier to put the other two blue springs back in. I was very impressed with how light the PRO arm would carry. I've never had to go so light before. It was actually a lot of fun.

Thanks again for everyone's help and offers of help.
