Kurt Warner Posted February 13, 2009 Report Share Posted February 13, 2009 Frederic Ever since you posted the info on the Ford Transit Connect last year I thought that it would be worth the wait. Well after 12 months of digging for details about the North American version of this Euro Award winning truck and calling my local Ford dealer over and over, asking him to give me pricing so I can place my order I find out this week that the base cargo model is over 20K. What the hell! Last year Ford was leaking that it would start at 12K so I was ready to buy one with extras for just over 15K. I believe that it is worthy of the praise that it’s gotten in Europe with the great 4.0 liter Diesel engine but 20K+ for a petrol Focus motor and a redesigned look. They should have given us a diesel for the American market and keep the look the same to keep the costs down. I would rethink it if they gave us the Euro version.
