However when it comes to wireless video you get what you pay for. After a couple of years of constant interference in NYC with my modulus I replaced it with a more stable and reliable WEVI system. The WEVI works great but there is a 15 frame latency. $1800 for both the TX and RCV which was a great deal, but it came with a cost. On jobs like music video where lip sync is critical 15 frames can really screw with the director. In those situations I have production rent a Cantran. This kind of product you just have to try it before you by it. But it is great that more and more products with lower price points are coming on the market!
