Premium Members Jon Beattie Posted April 10, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 10, 2008 So I've just purchased my first BFD (used gotta save where I can). I have got an assortment of cables to power the reciever off of camera. But I need to get a cable or 2 to power off my sled. My sled runs both 12v and 24v. some lemos are switchable (as on most 12-24 sleds) and some are dedicated to 12v. My feeling is to get a cable to run off the 12v dedicated lemos. This way I have modulus, BFD, monitor, level and archos on one leg. Then I have the other leg dedicated to camera, aside from when i power the BFD off camera. I'm running all dionic 90's. Thoughts? brian d goff
I've got Brian Goff's actioncam zero g. Hi Jon I use my 2 BFD's powering off the 4pin lemos - this way all acc. are on 12V. And if you are flying the 3batt set-up, you got one batt. dedicated to the acc. Cheers Brian
