I would guess that anything can be dynamically balanced with some tape and weights (I have my sk2 dynamically balanced) the provid I believe has more adjustment available for it, thus easier to balance, do not own one , but if I can balance the SK2 you can do a provid.

When I bought mine last week, Robin @ Optex said the best balance for the Provid was to pull the battery mount out as far as it will go, I've found this best, and when you take the don juan position, it stays rock solid balance wise.

Hi Jason,

First of all congrats on your purchase!

I have a Steadicam SK (..at least the post) but I think the stage is similar to the Provid. The two pin power connector of the stage is a lemo 0B and the big four pin connector between the post and the base module (power and video) is a lemo 1B.

 

Hope this information from another newbie is helpful ;)
