Gabriele,

I own the Gold system and overall have been satisfied with it. For the price it does well for itself and it's weight capacity of up to 38lbs. The vest is well built and cannot be compared to the other Glidecam vests. It has most of the same features as a traditional Steadicam vest. The socket block is well machined and I have used all types of Steadicam-branded arms on it without any problems. The chest pad isn't as comfy as some of the other manufacturer's vests, but you get what you pay for. I am thinking about investing in a Walter Klassen vest and having the Gold vest as my backup.

The Gold arm looks slick and has a decent amount of travel. It's based on the 3A arm, so it's not the latest and smoothest, but it still can do a great job. I use an awesome Bosch pocket drill to quickly change the arm stiffness.

If you spot a really great deal on the arm and vest, go for it. Do you already own a sled or are you trying to decide? Good luck.

Hey Gabriele,

I think you found that advertisement at Ebay don´t you ? Be carefull with that.. you need a chestplate, a socketblock plus

the plate (bridge) where the socketblock is mounted on. Besides this, they mentioned some minor maintenance on the arm but

you cannot try this arm untill you have a working vest at least..

Just my 2 cents, Erik
