Premium Members nealnorton Posted May 10, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 10, 2008 Hello Job: Could you clarify your post? Maybe I am not understanding what you are trying to say. . . it seems to be a very snide comment. Why would Bills post prompt a lesson on the search function? regards, Neal
Premium Members JobScholtze Posted May 10, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 10, 2008 Hello Job: Could you clarify your post? Maybe I am not understanding what you are trying to say. . . it seems to be a very snide comment. Why would Bills post prompt a lesson on the search function? regards, Neal Well, if he would bother to use the search function, he would know there are already posts about the link he just posted. Premium Members Charles Papert Posted May 10, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 10, 2008 Job: I too think that your tone is out of line. If a newbie comes on the board and wants to know what dynamic balance is or they just saw the Flycam on eBay and has anyone heard things about it, that's a reasonable time to instigate a lecture about the search function. In this instance Bill is a well-established operator who was looking to impart some information. We all need gentle reminding from time to time on double posting etc. but that was pretty unnecessarily snarky on your part. A simple "There's already a post about this here " would have gotten the point across.
Premium Members JobScholtze Posted May 10, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 10, 2008 Its nothing personal, just irritates me a little to read all kind of double postings, takes me to much time. It even wasnt ment to be snitching, but i can understand it sounded like one. But if we can lecture newbies, we can lecture all visitor. But thats another discussion. Premium Members nealnorton Posted May 11, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 11, 2008 Hey Job: If I have to do a search on any subject before I post, well, then I'll just leave you to enjoy the web site without me. I hadn't seen anything about GB's newest efforts and I thought it was pretty cool. Thanks Bill, I am always interested in what our own living legend is up to. . . Premium Members Charles Papert Posted May 11, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 11, 2008 I spoke to GB last week and he was busy at the time with the next generation version alluded to in the video that supports the human arm for delicate procedures. Really interesting stuff.
Premium Members Mike McGowan SOC Posted May 11, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 11, 2008 GB is the man, no doubt. Imagine how much larger the potential client base is! mm. P.S. Did anyone notice the type of rig being flown at the beginning of the piece? Looks like a PRO to me, lol.
