Premium Members Brandon Sumner Posted June 3, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 3, 2008 The artemis bracket looks like a good option. It would allow you to keep the high contrast CRT on the sled. A lot of newer operators like to go color especially for HD jobs. But don't forget the green CRT was designed for operators to shoot and see in direct sunlight. It is much more difficult on sunny days to shoot with the LCD even the ones with a ton of nits unless you have a grip that is flagging you. Brandon Hey Brandon, Really . . . .which LCDs are you using . . .Transvideo, and Boland along with Tiffens new one and a few others are all quickly becoming the steadicam ops monitors of choice. Personally my transvideo daybright monitor works awesome in direct sunlight, 900 nits is plenty. Not knocking the TB-6 or equivelents just saying no longer a specific necessity. Just my two cents
