Tsuyoshi Yasumoto
Hello, everyone. I will get some the Steadicam LE. I am at a loss about selection of monitor. An HD monitor wants to be supplied with it, but a supporting camera does not yet circulate in Japan like the RED ONE. When I chose a normal monitor, in the case of LE, may I change it for an HD monitor later? Because there is not the main body of LE at hand, and there is not a detailed person about the specifications of the LE, I am glad when I have you teach it, but. I'm so sorry about my English. :(
Bob Woodhead
When I chose a normal monitor, in the case of LE, may I change it for an HD monitor later? Welcome! There is a service charge to change to an HD monitor (I think it's about $800) in addition to the cost of the monitor. I just bought a FlyerLE, and asked in these forums whether HD was necessary, since the monitor is only 7" and a few feet away from your eyes. The general answer was "no". Having used it for a few weeks, I agree. If money were not an issue, well of course I'd put an HD monitor on to start! ;) The only problem I'd see would be if you have a camera that ONLY outputs HDSDI. Tsuyoshi Yasumoto
Dear Mr. Bob Woodhead. Thank you very much for your advice. I will get the normal monitors because of cameras. We have some the Red One cameras in Japan but its not too much (not too enough). So I have to get the normal monitors. Any way, thank you again.
