Fiber Cable adapter needed

Friend of a friend is looking to rent or buy a fiber adapter to be used by an Operator out of England while operating with a Sony 1500 in West Virginia by this Friday Sept. 5 ?

 

I gave him numbers of guys that might have an extra one to send out to him but I thought I might throw it out there to you guys just in case we can help a fellow op . . . .even if he is from the other side of the Pond . . . .LOL . . . .

 

Just bustin your British Balls guys . . .

They are trying to get one made and fed-exed out but just in case

I got mine from Mohawk Cable in MA 978-537-9961. 8ft SMPTE fiber jumper with LEMO ends: Item # MB2395. Just ask for the "Steadicam cable"

I had them make a 6 ft for me and the price was $630.

 

NOTE: For anyone who still has Kris Danault as a contact at Mohawk you should update your files. I left messages on her voicemail for two weeks without a return call; when I finally called the main number they said "oh, Kris hasn't worked here for nine months".
