Premium Members Peter Schmehl Posted September 8, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 8, 2008 (edited) Hey guys, I got a Steadicam Master broadcast with PAG batteries, so here is the problemo: The new PAG L95 batts are too light in weight and the LOK ON 20`s are definetly not long lasting (50Wh), neither are the PAG blocks. So in order to balance my rig right, I need two PAG batteries mounted on my Master, how is this possible, beside the adapter plate made by PAG, which seems too big? If I need to make a change to AB, IDX or else, I will do that, but please let me know if a Master is capable of carrying two batteries with some sort of modification. THANKS FOLKS, :D Peter Edited September 8, 2008 by Peter Schmehl
Premium Members Jason Torbitt Posted September 9, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 9, 2008 The twin PAG plate that you describe should do the job - although check dimensions to make sure that it will fit around the Master casing down there. Having said that, the technology has moved on so much that I'm not sure that even 2 x L95's would = approximate mass of a brick battery... I have work with this system for a long time to get a good balance with lcd monitors on the master .
