Hey Bud,

Contact Hugo Langer at Steadyrig. I don't have his number on me, but you can go to their site & get contact info. Also, I believe Charles Pappert bought one of the Steadyrig battery hangers.

Good luck,

Mark

Hi Mark.

Thanks for the suggestions! I did go to steadyrig.com, but no price info (boo).

And as far as contacting the great Pappert, I was just trying not to waste his time (as valuable as it is).

I was just being impatient. I'll give steadyrig a call on Monday.

hmmm.......that's disappointing (4 wks wait? starting a new show...kinda want it now...I've already established that I'm impatient..). Living in the valley, maybe GPI's is a better option? It's time to summon the Almighty Pappert on this one! "oh Chaaaaarrrles?!!!"

Thanks Ramon!

Allo!

Didn't realize the Hanger was going for even close to $3K, but the mangled exchange rate fluctuation may well have had something to do with the price increase. To answer Alec's question, that does not include lower JB; if you have a PRO1 or EFP it is plug and play with those JB's. Don't think I haven't been pushing Hugo to make a version with integrated JB!

I know Rig Engineering has been ramping up production on a slew of these, not sure when they were due to be released into the wild. He can be reached at:

Bud, I'm around, feel free to call with questions.

Hi Charles,

(Wow! Summoning works!!)

Thanks for the quick response, and kind offer. I was tied up meeting a DP for a new project and was unable to take you up on your offer. However, tomorrow I would love to take advantage of it. Please advise a good time for me to call you and I'll try to squeeze it in between setups.

Cheers,

Bud Kremp

Hi Bud,

The current price for a Steadyrig Battery Hanger is US$2950, further down the line we will be reverting to our catalogue price of US$3450. This price does not include US$145 for shipping worldwide.

This price is for the standard configuration. i.e. Anton Bauer plates.

Sony V-Lock, EFP or MK-V owners will require additional brackets to suit.

Charles is correct we have just received the components, for 40 battery hangers, back from the laser engravers and we have started assembly and dispatch.

Ramon, your Battery Hanger will be dispatched next Monday morning the 29th. Bud, standby I will give you a phone call.

As not all 40 units have yet been sold we will soon have complete units on the shelf available for immediate dispatch.

As for the website, it is now outdated and we will be updating it soon.

Gota rush.

Regards,

Hugo

Hello Hugo,

First, I just want to say thanks so much for your help!

Next, the price is very reasonable, and a great option for me. However, I need it asap (I know, I know...."lack of planning on your part, does not constitute and emergency on my part...ha ha).

I would need to know from you, a specific date you could send it to me, forms of payment you accept that would expedite the sale and delivery (fed ex next day). One other question I had was regarding the repair of any possible malfunction? As you are half way around the world from me, you can understand my concern. Also, I have the chocolate bar batt cage. From what I gather from Charles Papperts threads here, I can intall the hanger myself, true?

As far as calling each other, my new iPhone (or AT&T plan) will not allow me to call you long distance (I dont have a land line). At this point, please know that I need one right now, and it's only a matter of me buying and receiving it.

Again, I very much appreciate your attention and help. The best way for us to communicate at this point, is my email which is budkremp@yahoo.com. I check it ALL the time, so if you want to reach me, just send me a note, and I'll get right back to you!

Cheers,

Bud Kremp

Dear Ramon,

Your kind offer is much appreciated! I will let Hugo know, and then I will give you a call to work out any details. I will not go through with any deal unless I am positive that you will be taken care of!!

Thanks again for your flexibility, and I look forward to extending the same kindness to should the need arise.

Cheers,

Bud,

You should be able to buy an international calling card and use it to call (i.e. call the 800 number from your iPhone and then enter your pin, etc)

Yep, I do it all the time. Nobelcom.com has lots of card options, all with the fine print easily readable. I've been happy with them.

But Hugo's great about calling you too. =)

good luck
