Hello All,

I am currently in the process of up grading to a new Anton Bauer battery hanger on my PRO. I am looking for advice on what choices I have regarding cases to hold up to 9 Anton Bauer batts and 2 quad chargers. Would love to hear what you all have to say.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I had mind done at Innerspace Cases. They work pretty quickly and charge a fair price. You can tell them exactly how you want the case configured so you get exactly what you want.... Hold on, for you Bud, I'll go take a picture, stand by...

I have 2 Dual chargers but it would be nothing to have them change to quads. I also left some space in the front corners for the Preston charger and all the cables. The number for Innerspace is 800-806-7689. I think they save the designs so you could tell them to use my battery case design and just modify from there.

Sounds like your getting a bunch of new stuff... Did you get a big job or something?

mm.

Holy cow mikey!! Thanks a ton! Above and beyond man! (but I would expect no less than that from such an awesome fellow operator! Much appreciated!) your input regarding the hytrons was also EXTREMELY helpful in my batt purchasing decision! Hope you are doing well (from the sound of things, you're doing GREAT!! Can't wait to sit down and visit with you again!)

What can I say, cocoa bars ain't what they used to be, and with the threat of getting a genisis job looming (next one's pana 35mm, but ya never know) it's time to upgrade.

My first thought was Innerspace, however, their website offered nothing in the way of batt cases. I assumed it would be a natural product to sell. So...I came here!

All the best to you!

I had Innerspace make me a charger tray that pulls out of a case and has two dual AB chargers, Preston battery charger and space for others (cel phone cradle!) permanently mounted to the tray. Cable management hides under the lid and a single power cable (separately fused) powers the whole thing. Assistants love it for obvious reasons; I like the fact that they aren't trying to carry an armful of chargers with batteries falling off hither and yon (it's improved with the AB setup but with the old chocolate bars dangling from charging cables--ugh!).

Due to weight considerations, I've separated the chargers and batteries into two cases.

It's a somewhat exotic setup but point being, Innerspace can make anything you want (within reason)!

I'm pretty dull, but I have 2 pelican 1600 cases. Each has a charger, and each has at least 4 batteries. I like the idea of splitting up the bats and chargers because if I lose one in flight, or one is stolen, I don't have to shut down and start looking to borrow some AB batteries.

Around town I actually use cheapo aluminum tool cases similar to this: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_0...amp;origin=prod

They are light and small and fit a lot of batteries. They also fit perfectly in my trunk with my other cases where if I used something beefier that would definitely not be the case. For shipping I use something beefier but for around town I like staying small and light.

I have noticed a large range of quality in these cases and some seem to actually be a lot sturdier than others. My sturdier ones are the older ones so not sure if they are still easy to find but if so it makes a difference.
