Premium Members Felix Forrest Posted September 23, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 23, 2008 Hi all how easy (or otherwise) is it to remove the handle on the 790? Thanks
Premium Members Felix Forrest Posted October 1, 2008 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted October 1, 2008 Follow up: Well since noone else seemed to know I found out whilst on a shoot this week.... Yes you can and its pretty easy: Remove two top screws at front base of handle (where it connects to the top of the body) and stick them in a ziplock. Remove single screw (with a small crosshead screwdriver) on the rear top of the handle - again into the ziplock with this and the little plate which comes off with it!) Remove the two screws under the plate you've just removed and into the ziplock with this. The tally lamp will now be exposed - it can be rmeoved but its pretty much out of the way but can be taped down on its spring. Camera will now fit a tight low mode cage or the AR revolution rings with ease.
