Peter Chung Posted September 26, 2008 Report Share Posted September 26, 2008 Hi, I just got a Steadicam Pilot and I had a few questions so I tried contacting Tiffen directly through the emails listed on their Contact page: support@tiffen.com and techsupport@tiffen.com I ended up emailing both addresses because the first one bounced back and then so did the other one. A phone call to extension 17 is the best bet. Keep in mind that while it's a global company and probably the largest camera stabilization manufacturer (just guessing) it is still a relatively small business with maybe a few more than a dozen employees at the factory in Glendale. There are not banks of customer service / tech support staff like Dell or Apple. I've found them very responsive to my calls and had two conversations with them today. I just thought it was a bit strange that the emails were undeliverable and bounced back. ... actually, I took a closer look at the error message and it looks like they blocked the message because I was an "unknown sender." This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. The following addresses failed: <techsupport@tiffen.com> SMTP error from remote server after RCPT command: host mail.tiffen.com[155.212.237.227]: 550-5.5.0 This Email has been Blocked by the TIFFEN Mail Fiter as an unknown sender.
