Premium Members JobScholtze Posted August 3, 2004 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 3, 2004 I am using the Benz 5100 for about 6 months now, and it works great. Easy to setup when changing lenses, and the 9v battery last a full day at least. No bugs, and great support. The are loaning me a heden motor for 6 months now. Mitch Gross
So I am still curious as to how many Benz systems there are out there. I'm happy to hear tha Job has had one for six months and it works great for him, but I've never seen one outside of Ben showing it to me at a trade show. How many are around? Ben Fisher
Jim is quite correct the BENZ 5000 system was released in 2003 and his system was released in 1999. The BENZ 5000 has not sold in the same quantity as the BFD (yet), ask me that question again when we have been in the market as long... If you want to compare sales over an equal time period, in the first 18 months after the BFD was announced (the same time period that has elapsed since the BENZ was announced) I shipped 162 units. Now we can compare apples and apples. Jim "Trying to be helpful" Bartell

I know there are at least 4 in the Netherlands and a friend of my is renting from me a lot and is almost ready to get one himself. That makes 5 :P I do get a lot of questions about how i like it and experience. Several ac here used it now and there are no complaints. The are in fact very happy with the system. And Jim, i do like it that you still fight for John's sled, i second that. Job " How about john's sled " Scholtze
