I was looking at Ben Semanoff Gallery today and came across this gem of a shot . I wonder if Larry will be selling these in Black . lol

This could be a segway to a new topic " How far have you gone to get The Shot

"

Larry you are amazing.

All the best

I tried a pair of shoes like these once and it was of great concern to me that I would have a roll-over while maneuvering sideways in a shot--even bought a pair of "normal" platforms when they were in style 10 years ago and those were edgy also, so I never used them on a shoot. But I have no doubt that Larry found a way to dance in them!

Along similar lines, while teaching with Larry years ago I had a discussion with him about his preferred footwear which were at the time the Mephisto active shoe. I went out and dropped the $250 or whatever on a pair and while nicely made, couldn't stand them, they had about as much support as a moccasin. Luckily I found someone who was delighted to take them off my hands (feet?) as used at a discount! More recently tried the "Gravity Defiers" as seen in the Skymall magazine (also nicely made, had support but made my feet hurt with the rig on).

This definitely gets into the territory well-mined by the "what shoe do you wear" thread from last year, which made for fascinating reading as it showed the wide range of preferences amongst ops all across the board, proving that there is no magic formula.

I can't either and this seems to be a recurring problem that lots of people on the forum have.

Safari 3.1.2 here also and no problem.

Seeing that Charles and me are "Sustaining Members" and that all the ones having problems to see the pictures are just "Members" maybe it comes from the forum and it would mean that there is a "group limitation".

I hope it makes sense, I need to train my english...

About the picture, I know that I already saw it, but where and who did show it to me, I can't remember...

(Edit : Maybe I saw it on Ben Semanoff's gallery too...)

If they are only moderators they can't do much, they should be admins here anyway but this may never happen...
