Premium Members Kareem La Vaullee Posted October 23, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 23, 2008 Here is a picture I took with Garrett's iPhone that I wanted to post since the end of this year's IBC : Garrett and Chris both on Chris' new Handsfree Transporter, yes, the hard mount is that strong. As always it was great to spend some precious time with you, what can I say, I love you guys... Thanks also for the great party and food from Steadicam and thanks for the great food and crazy talks with Ulrich... Garrett, I didn't like that you almost made me cry by saying so much nice things about me and my operating technique, you are a one of a kind human being. Chris my friend, I hope you are safe and happy on your shooting in the Amazon Rainforest. Hope to see you soon. K.

Premium Members Charles Papert Posted November 7, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 7, 2008 Where's the pic? If I remember correctly, only sustaining members get to see and post images...? Is that right?
Premium Members Alan Greene Posted November 8, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 8, 2008 There are certain images posted by sustaining members that only other sustaining members can see, while other images are visible to everyone. I don't know what the two posting methods are that yield those different results.

Premium Members Jess Haas SOC Posted November 9, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 9, 2008 I could see this picture when first posted. I think it simply got taken down from wherever it was hosted. ~Jess
Premium Members chris fawcett Posted November 9, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 9, 2008 The picture is still there. I just looked at it, without logging in, from a Windoze 95 machine. Spooky!
Premium Members Jess Haas SOC Posted November 9, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 9, 2008 Why yes, yes it is. Wasn't when I said it wasn't but works perfectly fine now. I still think this one is an image hosting thing(imageshack) since it doesn't appear the way most of the ones I can't see do. ~Jess

How do the ones you can't see appear? This is spookier than I thought.

Firefox on a Macbook Pro. For those who can't see it: it's a great pic! :P Best, Sven

Premium Members Jess Haas SOC Posted November 9, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 9, 2008 It doesn't appear the way most of the ones you can't see do? How do the ones you can't see appear? This is spookier than I thought. The ones that I can't see usually have something at the bottom of the post saying that the image is attached but when I click it I get the message "Sorry, but you do not have permission to use this feature." For example I can't view the image posted in this thread: http://www.steadicamforum.com/forums/index...?showtopic=8690 I never have been able to since it was first posted no matter what browser I use. Hopefully that explanation makes it a little less spooky :-) ~Jess
