Red on V-25

Hi All,

We just got the RED in, and these are some images of me flying it with the V-25. It weighed in at 32 lbs (cam and sled) so 8lbs short of max.

Whilst waiting for the down converter, I'm flying it with the monitor mounted at the top (just out of view on the photos), and powering it from the attached battery. I'll post more images when the full rig is complete.

The images look great, and it's a pleasure to use with my rig... It can be done with a V-25!

Doing lots of tests at the moment- I'll post video when I can!

Hi Charles,

(metric conversions aside) The V-25 arm should be able to carry 40lbs at nearly full tension- So we're in the clear with this set up. The ads say 26lbs for cam weight, but the total including the sled is 40.

There's no creaking or other warning signs of overload... Feels fine!

p.s. Just had a quick look at your site.. Looks great- will have a good read of your articles later:)

Got you. :) I appreciate you taking time to visit. Hope you find the reviews and articles interesting. Great to have operators taking time out to view the site and board. I appreciate it. Got great support from Garrett, Papert, Job, Puli and a couple outstanding operators. It's nice to see broad mindedness. :)

Oh yeah, don't forget to check out the 'Modifying commercial Systems' forum
