We're all pretty curious or at least am I ;-) Hi Lukas! Premium Members Ed Moore Posted November 18, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 18, 2008 Great photos. Looks like it was a lot of fun (whilst simultaneously being knackering). Is that an XTR? Bet the footage looks gorgeous.
Premium Members chris fawcett Posted November 18, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 18, 2008 Thanks Ed! It was pretty wild. The lab reports are good, but I've yet to see the footage. I'll post some on my projects page when I get a telecine. It's an Aaton XO. I liked the camera a lot: simple and sturdy. The only let down was an antique video tap that had about 3 stops of dynamic range. I had to pull the gain on the fly a couple of times, which really pissed me off. All the best, Chris
Premium Members Lars Erik Posted November 18, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted November 18, 2008 Hi Chris, those pictures looks great. Hope all is well back in Amsterdam. Kat: get the C3. If you can afford it, also w/ G-70. Great arm. If you can't afford the G-70, there is always the possibility of being able to rent a G-70 arm from a colleague nearby, whenever you're flying a heavier set-up. The C3 gimbal has the same socket size as a U2. LE
