Anyone know of a rec controller that plugs directly into the camera and not the lens?

I am working with manual cinestyle lenses that don´t have any plugins.

Wouldn't the Preston or Bartech R/S cable do the trick... that is if you are using a Preston or Bartech?

Yes I have a bartech. I guess you are right, that should work.

But I would like to have something on my handgrip when I am doing handheld as well.

Maybe there is someone genius out there who knows how to make them.....

Contact Terry West. It's either a momentary or continuous switch (I think momentary) and there should be no reason that Terry or someone else could not rig a simple on/off for you that you can attach to whatever you want. If you've got the dime.... I'm sure they have the time and connectors!
