Gotta job coming up with one so.. need the practice. Or is there anyone in the LA area looking to practice the wheels at a rental house perhaps, with a real person, I'd be up for that Today as well.. It's better to do it there because you'll get a camera body + a set of lenses -- and there's lots of people walking around to annoy...I mean follow. Ron B I heard this mentioned at the 24P pedestal workshop I took about a month ago. They had a gear head there too which I practiced a lot on. I thought they were joking. But yet, it's not a bad idea. Actually, someone should have come up with a virtual-reality-esque video game interface which throws a serious of operating challenges at you, "I just made it to level 4, standups and sitdowns!" I invision JUST the gimble hooked up to a playstation. It would have some resistance as it would if there were a sled and camera on it. Garrett's voice is of course on this level. "Level out! level out! Now go into Don Juan. Now preceed the actor up the stairs... end frame was garbage. GAME OVER!" (embarassingly, I really DID forgot that we had to valet park at the studio parking garage this morning, and spent an hour going through all my gear and ransacking the stage trying to find my keys at the end of the day before it all made sense.
