Premium Members David Shawl SOC Posted December 29, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted December 29, 2008 Is it possible to adapt a Shark Fin antenna to work with this? Also, does the monitor stay on the same channel even if powered down and then powered back up? FYI The Camos is on sale at NEBTEK until December 31st for $329, plus battery holder.... Hey David: I have a customized Camos from David Hable at Cramped Attic. To answer your questions; yes on both. The Camos has an external antenna input which is a little mini-pin and you can get an adapter for mini-pin to F antenna female. I have the adapter and a shark fin but have honestly never used it in that configuration. As well, when you power off the Camos and power it back on the channel sticks. David also added a BNC in and out on mine which allows me to use it as a receiver and output to another monitor and to use it as a program return monitor for live shows (yes a little large for return) but he also made a custom power / video in cable where I can power from my sled and send the program return down the post to the Camos. I recommend this monitor for its versatility and Cramped Attic for his ingenuity!

Nebtek JP I buy my Camos at the army surplus store. Sometimes they put bullet holes in them so they will sell faster. =)
