Premium Members Rob Vuona SOC Posted January 7, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 7, 2009 hi all, what are some of the best excersizes (if any) that you use to keep your back and legs and body in shape? im looking for some alternatives as i am bored of my current gym routine! anything helps! thanks in advance! Amando: Yes, there's always injuries but what's a separated shoulder between friends Bryan: Ya right on the gym thing, your with Wilson and 12oz curls Tarik: I barely fit it all in my little smarty, but as others will attest that have witnessed the steadi tetris it fairly amussing, think clown car . . .LOL . . . The draw back to riding your bike to work is when all goes to hell and all of a sudden you are 16 hours into the day and you have to ride your bike 18 miles home at 11pm, thank God for the ipod ;-)
Premium Members William Demeritt Posted June 6, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 6, 2009 I'm in the gym usually 3-4 days a week, and have routines for each day (legs day, back/biceps day, chest/triceps day, shoulders day, etc). On my days off, I will jog for 30-60 minutes, depending on how I feel. I'm inclined to think that my gym activity has given me a great condition for operating, both for stamina but also for strength. I love doing my leg and back exercises, and while I have no proof, I think that some exercises are very Steadicam friendly. Specifically: squats (standard, front, Romanian), good mornings, deadlifts, etc. I would think that kettle bell exercises would be fantastic for Steadicam conditioning, considering the compound nature of the exercise utilizing shoulders, back and legs all in one motion. Like others have said, the overall exercise and aerobic exercise definitely helps. Anything to get your stamina up.
Premium Members Stefano Ben Posted March 3, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 3, 2012 Hi Guys! Almost every single afternoon or evening (when I'm not working) I train my abs, back and arms at home... In my opinion, the Legs are in training when I work, there aren't best ways! Also... I'm a climber! So, I think it's a good sport to improve all my body just like in a swimming pool. Best, Steve.

Premium Members William Demeritt Posted March 3, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 3, 2012 Kettlebells at home are fantastic. Great for muscle confusion. Otherwise just stay active: biking, hiking, Slayer concerts...
Premium Members Andrew Ansnick Posted March 4, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 4, 2012 It's great having access to a gym and a pool. I try to go 3-4 times per week alternating workout routines (legs and back, chest/arms/shoulders, core, etc.). Also, LOVE swimming laps as there is no better workout in my opinion- works nearly every muscle group as well as low/no impact cardio all in one. Another great cardio/leg workout is taking the dog to the trails. Try keeping up with a one year old pup and you will get your ass kicked every time. Premium Members Markus Kuballa Posted March 5, 2012 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 5, 2012 P90X and P90X2... the best workout programs without question. I prefer AthleanX. Cheaper and much more versatile than P90X.
