Nitin Rao
Hello It is a motorized skate board. It runs via remote held by the operator. Quite a fancy to see it run but a little uncertain for uneven surfaces.
Premium Members Jason Torbitt Posted January 16, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted January 16, 2009 That's a nice tidy bit of work, with the stepoff. Very neat. Must be just as difficult to think 'outside the box' as it is with the Handsfree. Nice work.
Premium Members Peter Abraham Posted February 3, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted February 3, 2009 Reminds me of Ted Churchill, who used to operate Steadicam wearing rollerskates. The 4-wheeled variety. I believe in the book " LightYears", there is an accounting of Ted showing up to shoot a live concert by wheeling through the crowd up to the stage in skates. The Steadicam Operator's Manual of Style has a photo of Ted's gear in a pile- including a rollerskate. Yipes. Peter Abraham
