Thanks a lot En teoría debe funcionar bien, considerando que el peso de la cámara Sony HVR Z1 es de 4.3 lb (1.9 kg). El modelo Pilot de Steadicam está diseñado para una capacidad de carga de 2 a 10 lbs. Lo cual ubica esta cámara dentro de un rango medio aceptable para el Pilot. Es necesario considerar el tipo de monitor que tiene el Pilot puesto que hay dos alternativas: 5.8" Color LCD Monitor (Pilot) 16:9 y 3.5" Color LCD monitor (Co-Pilot) 4:3 (Pal o NTSC). Igualmente es importante contemplar el peso del sistema de alimentación para monitor y cámara. Si es el monitor de 3.5" utiliza baterias Doble AA. (Son livianas pero de poca capacidad y duración). I wrote in spanish because Matías is from Uruguay, I am from Colombia but I live in Argentina so that is why I decided to. Anyway, excuse me if it was not very polite. Truthfully I don't own a pilot and probably never will, but I do like to read all the posts about equipment and functionality which led to the translation. This site is a resource for so many operators that I figured I'd put the translation up for those that might be looking for the same answers but can't read Spanish. I understand some english but i´m not so good at writing. Con respecto a lo que mencionaban sobre la montura para las baterías... Encontré en B&H una oferta con montura para baterías AA para un monitor 5.8" 16:9 LCD. Me parece que es el más adecuado para el uso que vamos a darle en la escuela de cine. Según leí en los Reviews estas baterías duran cerca de 4 horas. Quizá la única desventaja sean las 10 pilas que debo colocarle. I will try to translate... About the battery mount. I found at B&H an offer with AA Batery Mount for a 5.8" 16:9 LCD monitor. I think that works well for what we want the Pilot. According to the B&H Reviews for this product, someone says that batteries last 4 hours using the 5.8" 16:9 LCD. May be the only disadvantage is the amount of batteries..
