I was fed up with my CanaTrans getting beat up on a show where it just got velcro-ed to the camera, so I came up with this bracket, based on Mike Skipp's Preston MDR modular bracket. The clamping block can be moved around the mounting plate - 8 different positions with 4 different orientations in each position.
