Need help with Flyer Monitor

Hi,

I have a shoot that is with a 35mm adapter. I'm using my Flyer monitor because the Cine3r is in use elsewhere.

With the flyer monitor, I can flip it horizontally, but not vertically. The UP/DOWN flips it, but doesn't mirror it... ugh.

Basically, when I hit [MIRROR] - [ON] nothing happens.

Can someone else confirm that I'm doing the right thing? I never received a manual with this, nor have I had to flip it before.

(I know I can just turn the whole thing upside down, but if that can be avoided, that would be great.)

hey Bryan, how are you ?

It depends on the age of the monitor. I mean, there is a batch of monitors for the Flyer which had a problem with this mirror function.

I had the same problem, did my first lowmode shots 1.5 years after i bought the rig. It was somehow funny to perform this lowmode shots. I was passing by a CEO sitting at the desk from the right side and panning to the left. On screen, i was panning to the right.. very confusing !

Inform TIFFEN. They will swap the monitor for you or repair it.. (they did this for me..)

Best, Erik
