Premium Members Bryan Fowler Posted March 22, 2009 Premium Members Report Share Posted March 22, 2009 Hi, I have a shoot that is with a 35mm adapter. I'm using my Flyer monitor because the Cine3r is in use elsewhere. With the flyer monitor, I can flip it horizontally, but not vertically. The UP/DOWN flips it, but doesn't mirror it... ugh. Basically, when I hit [MIRROR] - [ON] nothing happens. Can someone else confirm that I'm doing the right thing? I never received a manual with this, nor have I had to flip it before. (I know I can just turn the whole thing upside down, but if that can be avoided, that would be great.)

I mean, there is a batch of monitors for the Flyer which had a problem with this mirror function. I had the same problem, did my first lowmode shots 1.5 years after i bought the rig. It was somehow funny to perform this lowmode shots. I was passing by a CEO sitting at the desk from the right side and panning to the left. On screen, i was panning to the right.. very confusing ! Inform TIFFEN. They will swap the monitor for you or repair it.. (they did this for me..) Best, Erik
Premium Members Bryan Fowler Posted March 22, 2009 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted March 22, 2009 Erik, Thanks for the confirmation. I'll stop trying now. =) I did get this several years ago, so I'll have to contact T and see what they can do for me. Thanks again!
