THIS POST MAY BE REMOVED ON JUNE 5, 2009 Three Great Events from Tiffen The Tiffen Company has announced that it will hold its first Factory/Customer Swap Meet on the grounds of its Steadicam Manufacturing facility in Glendale, CA. The factory sale will include Steadicam products and many Tiffen items from other divisions. The Open Customer to Customer Swap Meet will allow customers to come and trade or swap their unwanted items for cash or other products from other customers. Later that evening, Tiffen will host a Pre-Cine Gear Open House at the same Steadicam facility. Event 1: Factory Sale 4:00PM – 6:30PM Date: Thursday, June 4, 2009 Place: Tiffen-Steadicam Manufacturing Facility 6933 San Fernando Road Glendale, CA 91201 818 843 4600 Event 2: Customer Swap Meet 4:00PM – 6:30PM Event 3: Tiffen Open House 7:00 PM – 9:30 PM Light refreshments will be served at this event. Guests are asked to RSVP to any or all of the events by June 1st to: mcraigs@tiffen.com (1-800-593-3331 x 1017) or khowley@tiffen.com (1-800-645-2522 x 1241). The Tiffen Open House will feature new Tiffen products introduced at NAB 2009. Other products on display will include our new Lowel products. Special guests include Steadicam inventor Garrett Brown and co-developer, Jerry Holway. Book signing by Jerry Holway for his newly released “Steadicam Operator’s Handbook”, written in conjunction with Steadicam Operator Laurie Hayball, will be offered at a special introductory price. New, used, demo equipment, overstocks, samples and one-of-a-kinds will be on display. If you have older Steadicam parts requirements, Tiffen urges you to send a detailed request list to Michael Craigs, mcraigs@tiffen.com for first selection. A limited supply of Steadicam logo Caps, T-Shirts, Tool Kits and Sand Bags will be made available. No phone or mail orders will be accepted for these items. A very limited number of shipping damaged Steadicam Operator’s Handbooks will be available at ½ off the cover price of $50. These may be ordered in any quantity until they are gone. This sale is conducted by Tiffen and the items for sale are not available from any of Tiffen’s dealer business partners.
