Redbyte power connection

Thanks to everyone for the information about the Decimator. I have just bought one and I want to get a few cables made up. Volker at Vast Valley here in Dublin will make them up for me. I need a male 3 pin Lemo from my Mk-V J-box to power the Redbyte. The number on the other 3pin Lemos that I have is FCI JBXF D1G but I can't source it anywhere. Can anyone help?

MK-V is the obvious source but unfortunately since I complained to Howard about a number of things he has been ignoring me.

The Lemo plug (off the top of my head) is FGG.1B.303.CLAD.62Z or 52Z depending on the thickness of the cable you use.

You could also go from the 4 way power / vid which is a ermmm... FGG.0B.304.CLAD52Z

Unit price £8.79 direct from Lemo UK minimum £35 order I think. Ask for Silla.

Hi Ian,

Nice to hear from you. I have a number of possible solutions now for that in hand now thank you. I hope to pop in and say hello when you are doing the prep.

Regards,

Keith.

Hey Keith,

I'll be at Ardmore prepping starting the 8th. If you want to bring over the sled and Redbyte I might have the parts you need in my kit.

Well I think Silla loves me more than Mel loves you, as I get a lower minimum ;)

Rick.

Just for reference, the min order is £50, and I usually deal with Mel who has her head screwed on. Phones back when she says she will etc.

Lower minimum dosn't bother me, I order bags and bags of those things.

I had a home visit from a Lemo rep the other day, do you get that!?!

:P

...And I had a personal tour of the factory.

Yeah, a rep from their legal department asking you to stay more than 100m away from the Lemo UK offices and its staff at all times...

ha, no he was just in the area. I recently put a reasonable order in for cable assemblies, loose ends and tools so it was just a courtesy call.

In fact when they add worthing to Google Streetview, you should be able to see me through the window in the Lemo office. I was right by a window when the car came round :-D

When I was thinking about a mod, I also looked at the half dozen cables I already had for my modulus that isn't getting as much use with all the HD work. So I took the power approach of using these existing cables and added a Hirose 6pin. Then I went a step further to add a power/video output on the other side to send power and the down converted signal to my modulus using preexisting cables
