John Pappas Posted June 10, 2009 Report Share Posted June 10, 2009 Hi All, As some of you are aware I was in a serious Motorbike accident about a fortnight ago in Central Australia. I came off my bike at about 100kmh in the middle of nowhere. I was flown by the Royal Flying Doctor Service to Broken Hill and on to Adelaide for surgery, and was in a coma for 48hrs. I have shattered my left wrist, have several broken fingers and bruising - my head is clear after 4 CT scans (they suspected a skull fracture) but I will be out of action for the next two months or so with more surgery expected in the next week. I have been inundated with calls and emails and would like to thank everyone for their well wishes. It always surprises me how quickly news travels and how close the industry really is.
